About us
The Alumni is Colorado's authority for high school academics, activities and athletics news 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Alumni was started in the fall of 2006 by a former Colorado high school student-athlete who wanted more news, more sports and more opportunity. There have been many great students and student-athletes who have emerged from Colorado high schools, but there has historically been little notoriety for these standouts in Colorado compared to student-athletes in California, Texas and Florida. The Alumni is dedicated to providing superior service to the Colorado high school community. We are in the beginning stages of our commitment to you, so grow with us as we strive to make your future brighter.

Don Cameron
|
Editor-in-Chief
Don has been a newspaper, magazine and Web site editor and reporter for more than 20 years. Former sports editor of the Vail Daily and Summit Daily News in the Colorado high country, he also has experience at major metro newspapers and a variety of sports magazines. He was a news service manager for the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Committee and is a graduate of Cornell University. He also served as a volunteer coach for a state champion Vail youth hockey team.

Executive Director
Erik is a graduate of Skyview High School. He has a degree in finance and business from the University of Northern Colorado. He also was an all-region first-team selection outfielder for the Bears.

Writer
Kyle grew up and went to high school up in the mountains of Estes Park. He graduated from Colorado State University in 2007 with a B.A. in journalism and a minor in coaching. During his time there he spent a semester as an intern at the Fort Collins Coloradoan writing the stories nobody else really wanted to write as well as writing features for their magazine, 25 North. He was also a reporter for College Avenue, the campus magazine at CSU, for a year. He now lives and writes for The Alumni in Denver.
