You can view rankings 26-50 in the September issue of The Alumni on news stands now

The Alumni starts the 2009-10 school year with a new weighted rankings system aimed more toward academics. Academics will account for 70 percent of The Alumni's academic results. These results will be drawn from the Colorado Department of Education's School Accountability Results (SARs) and calculated into The Alumni PowerRankings. In consequence, Arapahoe High School, D'Evelyn High School and Rock Canyon High School break into the top 10 due to stellar results from the 2007-08 SARs. Activities and athletics results will weigh 10 percent of the total value score, with spirit and sportsmanship weighing 5 percent each.
