Scholarships

The Alumni is proud to announce the $1,500 Colorado High School Student Journalist of the Year Award. The scholarship will be announced in the June issue of The Alumni in the 2008-09 school year. The Alumni requests that each school choose a correspondent to represent their school.

If you are interested, have your principal or athletic director contact The Alumni at comments@thealumninews.org with "Scholarship" in the subject line of the e-mail and we will get back to your school's administrator with rules and regulations.

Our target is primarily students enrolled at an accredited university, community college or junior college, but dedicated high school students who have an interest in journalism or photography are encouraged to apply. We have internship guidelines in place with the University of Colorado, Colorado State University, University of Northern Colorado, Denver University, Metropolitan State College of Denver, Front Range Community College and many others.
